CHAPTER.1

MEANINGLESSNESS OF EXISTENCE

意义是选择，而非存在的本质。事物的存在，并没有预设的意义，而这恰恰是存在的事物之 最积极意义。我们试图从存在中探讨另一种非意义的可能，以发觉功能主义的边界，开拓物件的工作状态为目的，在后现代主义的理念基础上，设计并展出一组在反对以各种约定俗成的形式下构建的家具摆件。

Meaning is only a choice, not the essence of being. The existence of things has no pre-set meaning, and this is exactly the most positive meaning of the existing things.We try to explore another kind of meaningless possibility from the existence, in order to discover the boundary of functionalism and open up the working state of objects. On the basis of the concept of postmodernism, we design and display a group of furniture which are constructed in the form of opposing to convention.

展品以单纯直观的几何体混合无意识、不规则的其他造型堆砌组合而成，将一些自然生成的肌理融入其中，配合材质的层次感与冲撞感，极力突出无序世界的感官氛围。它是单一的、 丰富的、多功能的、无功能的、自由的、固定的，人们在观看和使用的过程中可以根据自己 无边界的想象赋予其恰当的功能性。”

The exhibits are composed of simple and intuitive geometry mixed with unconsciousness and irregular shapes. Some naturally generated texture is integrated into it, and the sense of hierarchy and collision of materials are combined to highlight the sensory and atmosphere of disordered world.It is single,  abundant, multifunctional, non-functional, free and fixed.In the process of watching and using, people can give it proper functionality according to their boundless imagination.

CHAPTER.2

DYSTOCIA

上述是正在做一系例艺术实验的mojoc团队对于本次展览结果最初的愿望，但在这次的实验过程中，我们的project 难产了。就像我们经历的每一次策展，mojoc的伙伴们坚持带着把自己对世界的思考以视觉化呈现为目的，尽力展现给喜欢并关注我们的人。团队还处在成长的阶段，成果时而不如预想，这使我们把注意力引向当项目无以为继时团队的情绪变化，发现它与人在面对难产这一事件时有相似的情绪反应，都是由孕育、期盼、磨难、抗争产生的，这种情绪是红色的。

Chapter 1 is the initial wish of mojoc team, which has been doing a series of art experiments, for the results of this exhibition. However, in the process of this experiment, our project is in trouble.Like every curation we have been through, we insists on visualizing our thinking for the world and try to show them to those who like and care about us. However, sometimes the results are not as good as expected, as we are still in the stage of learning.This leads us to pay attention to the emotional changes of the team when the project is unsustainable. It is found that it has similar emotional reactions to people while they are facing the situation of dystocia, which are generated by pregnancy, expectation, suffering and resistance, and we think the emotion is red.

我们在延续本展览最初的家具设计主题的基础上，将原本的无功能造型设定为女性难产时的行为动作，强化“血液、子宫、胚胎”等视觉符号，将难产的过程视觉化，为观展人营造出可以触摸的情绪场景

On the basis of continuing the original theme of this exhibition, we set the original non-functional furnitures’ shape as the behavior and action of women in dystocia, strengthen the visual symbols such as "blood, uterus, embryo", etc., to visualize the process of dystocia, and create emotional scenes that can be touched for visitors.
